About Us

We are a group of chess players that just enjoy the game. Nothing more. We love the way something so simple as a board with 64 squares and 32 pieces can create a different adventure every time. We love the way it keeps our brains sharp and allows us the opportunity to meet someone new, slow down, and enjoy something simple every once in a while. There's a reason chess has been around for over a thousand years.

Special thanks goes out to the owner of Cafe Enchante, Chet, for offering us a place to connect with other chess players and an opportunity to bring a community of chess players together in Huntington Beach.
